Well, we made it home on Sunday evening...... just in time to unload the fifth wheel, mow the lawn, and then reload for another trip!
The drive from Dallas on Sunday was pretty uneventful. I even drove for a while! It feels a fair amount different with 10 or 11 thousand pounds trailing the truck! Fortunately I apparently did well as Max didn't leave any permanent dents in the seat or floor as he "tried" to help. grin. He's a very patient man!
And yes, I was serious about heading out again. We leave today for a long weekend at ElDo lake. The temps are predicted in the 90s. Nice, as our friends have a boat. But it will be windy so who knows if we'll actually get onto the water. We'll see.
