The adventure continues.....

We traveled through 3 states today..... Kansas, Oklahoma, and Texas. And I have the numb butt to prove it! Grin. Okay, we didn't travel ALL the way through those states. If we had, we would still be on the road! We went southwest through Kansas, cut through the panhandle of Oklahoma, and stopped in the panhandle of Texas.

In case you are wondering, we are headed to Tucson. But we're gonna take our time getting there. Some wise and experienced rvers recommend that we limit our driving to 5 or 6 hours a day. So it will take us 3 days to get to Tucson. Oh well. When you are retired, it doesn't really matter how long it takes!

So we are spending the evening and night in Dalhart Texas. The park is a no frills place, but is very comfortable. And it DOES feel good to be out of the truck!

Floating the Day Away.....

The wind finally settled down today and the boats came out. It is good thing too as it was 104 here today. Floating in the lake (brrrr!) made it all bearable. Of course the cold Bud helped too. Grin.

One more nite around the campfire and then we head home.

And only 3 more weeks until the next adventure!

It Is All About the Food!

It IS all about the food. And we don't necessarily have to have our guys cooking it. There ARE some really great restaurants in El Do. Tonite is Mexican nite. Yummy. And then, of course, we will have to make the trek to Walmart afterwards. Do we know how to live or what?!? :)
