Pick a Color, Any Color

So many colors...... Argh!

Perhaps I should back up a bit.....

I mentioned in an earlier post that our next grand adventure would be a home-based one where we remodel our master bathroom and bedroom. Well the adventure is gearing up to launch! The plans and contractor are lined up. We've already made a multitude of decisions like lighting, cabinets, flooring, etc. And now we are wrangling with selecting the paint colors.

Hence the pic of paint samples. You'll note at the top of the pic, a stack of small paint jars. We've gone through about 20 different color samples so far. I paint two sheets of paper with each color and then tape them up around the rooms. Right now it looks like some kind of weird deco art project on our walls. Sheesh!

Soon, I'm pretty sure we will make a paint decision soon. Grin.

Cheers!

2098

2098.  That's how many emails you get when you are gone for 3 or so weeks.  Sheesh!  I guess that one never really realizes exactly how many emails come in until you see them all accumulated. It took my poor, antiquated desktop computer quite a while to actually download all of them!

Yes, I kept up with emails while we were on the adventure.  But unfortunately, just deleting them off the ol' iPad doesn't keep the bit bucket in the sky from saving them up and then trying to fry the circuits of my desktop when has to accept such a huge data dump.

But I, and my computer, survived and finally got the in-box cleaned up and down to a manageable size.

That, among other things, has reconfirmed for me that it is time to invest in a new desktop.  This cranky machine is coming up on 10 years old.  And believe me, the wait time I invest between clicks confirms its age every day!

So Rochelle and I spent some time at the Apple Store in San Antonio while we were there.  Gad, I wish we had one of those in Wichita!  What a cool place!  Anyway, I'm convinced that my new desktop should be an iMac.  Lordy, they are slick.  Yes, I know, seduced by technology and all that......  but, I'm thinking that it would be SO nice to have a desktop that plays well with both the iPhone and the iPad.

So, if you have some experience in converting from a PC to a iMac user, I'd love to hear about it.  Just send me a comment please.  And let the debate begin!  <grin>

Cheers!
